Na Sada Salmin, DAR ES SALAAM
MABINGWA wa Tanzania wametupwa nje ya michuano ya SportPesa Super Cup baada ya kuchapwa mabao 2-1 na Bandari ya Kenya katika mchezo wa Nusu Fainali uliofanyika Uwanja wa Taifa mjini Dar es Salaam.
Kwa matokeo hayo, Bandari FC kutoka mjini Mombasa inayofundishwa na mchezaji wa zamani wa Yanga ya Dar es Salaam, Ben Mwalala itakutana na mshindi kati ya Mbao FC na Kariobangi Sharks katika Fainali Jumapili na Simba SC watawania nafasi ya tatu siku hiyo.
Baada ya kosakosa kadhaa, Simba SC wakatangulia kupata bao dakika ya 45 kupitia kwa mshambuliaji wake wa kimataifa wa Rwanda, Meddie Kagere aliyefumua shuti kali baada ya pasi kiungo Mzambia, Clatous Chama.
Kipindi cha pili kocha Mbelgiji wa Simba SC, Patrick Aussems alikianza kwa mabadiliko akimpumzisha mchezaji mpya, Sadney Urikhob kutoka Namibia na kumuingiza mshambuliaji wake nyota, Emmanuel Okwi huku pia akimtoa kiungo mzawa, Hassan Dilunga na kumuingiza Mnyarwanda, Haruna Niyonzima.
Lakini mabadiliko hayo hayakuwa na faida kwa timu hiyo, na badala yake yakaidhoofisha na kuruhusu wapinzani wao kutoka nyuma kupata ushindi.
Bandari walipata bao la kusawazisha dakika ya 58 likifungwa na William Wadri kwa mkwaju wa penalti, baada ya kiungo wa Simba SC, Muzamil Yassin kumchezea rafu Temia Mwana kumdondosha ndani ya boksi.
Bandari wakapata bao lao la ushindi dakika ya 72 kupitia kwa Wilberforce Lugogo aliyeuwahi mpira uliotemwa na kipa wa Simba SC, Aishi Salum Manula kufuatia shuti la mpira wa adhabu.
Okwi alimsetia pasi nzuri Haruna Niyonzima dakika 80 baada ya kuwatoka mabeki wa Bandari upande wa kushoto wa Uwanja, lakini katika mastaajabu ya wengi, kiungo wa Rwanda akapiga juu ya lango.
Na hiyo ikawa nafasi nzuri ya mwisho kwa Simba, kwani baada ya hapo Bandari waliongeza umakini na kuulinda ushindi wao, hivyo kufanikiwa kwenda Fainali.
Nusu Fainali ya pili ya michuano hiyo inafuatia sasa kati ya Mbao FC ya Mwanza iliyowatoa mabingwa watetezi, Gor Mahia dhidi ya Kariobangi Sharks waliowatoa wenyeji wengine, Yanga SC.
