The former ran on smartly for 3rd, beaten just over two lengths in a big field whilst her stablemate was a further 1.60 lengths adrift in 4th position. The obvious concern is whether they will handle two runs in quick succession but their conditioner is renowned for pulling it off.

FLAPJACK brings solid recent form into this event and he gets the narrow first verdict ahead of the costly to follow INDY ICE. The latter has also shown improvement with the aid of blinkers and rather interestingly, he finished comfortably ahead of the former on the Jagesa Jagesa c & d run in the spring. That said, the son of Mambo In Seattle is a really difficult ride and could be a handful for his workrider.

Of course she has nearly seven lengths to find with the runner-up SHEZAHOTTI who ran on strongly to register her career best effort but the Houdalakis trained entrant will relish the extra furlong and can finish much closer to the likely short-priced favourite.
