Haydock Best Bets
Race 2: HERE COMES WHEN (1)

HERE COMES WHEN is a nine-year-old taking on in the main far younger rivals but given the likelihood of extreme underfoot conditions he has to be of interest. The fact that he's only managed one visit to a racecourse all year is not necessarily a bad thing as he's fresh off another break and boasts a good record at the track. He's a Group 1 winner in a Group 3, and if the going became heavy would greatly benefit from it.
Race 4: NOT SO SLEEPY (5)
Trainer: Hughie Morrison

This Old Burrough Cup features a handful of improving Stayers of who,
NOT SO SLEEPY can prove the pick. Hailing from a stable that excels with this type of horse, the 7yo goes into battle off a light programme of just four outings all season. But most encouraging was his best effort, last time at Nottingham, when he chased home to useful Laafy on heavy ground. That sterling effort should have put the edge on him.
Ascot Best Bets
Race 1: ROPEY GUEST (5)

Jockey: Tom Queally
More than half of these juveniles are having their first run while
ROPEY GUEST holds a big advantage from the point of view of experience as his 746433 form figures bear out. Importantly, his latest effort in finishing a two and three-quarter lengths third to Valdermoro at York is seriously good in its own right meaning that one of the newcomers will have to be well above average to lower his co,ours.
Race 2: POCKET SQUARE (6)

POCKET SQUARE enjoyed a pleasing introduction at Yarmouth where in a small field she caught the judge's eye without being in any way knocked about. She attracted plenty of support in the betting ring and will step a fair way forward - probably enough to open her account for her top connections.
Thirsk Best Bets
Race 1: WALKONBY (8)
Trainer: Mick Channon
Jockey: Graham Lee
This is a much stiffer task for
WALKONBY than either of her wins in a Newmarket seller and a Salisbury nursery but she should be up to the task. The daughter of Sixties Icon is turning into a powerful unit and after delighting in her winding up work for this on Tuesday is in the mood to complete the hat-trick.
Race 5: I'LLETYOUGONOW (6)
Trainer: Mick Channon
Jockey: James Sullivan
An u usual jockey booking for a filly that needs strong handling. The only success for
I'LLETYOUGONOW came when Silvestre de Silva took the reins at Windsor and the combination made almost every yard of the running. She subsequently bombed out behind Amourously at Chepstow but is better than that, and looks sharp and alert in her breeze yesterday.
Kempton Best Bets
Race 1: BEST SOLUTION (2)
Trainer: Saeed Bin Suroor
Jockey: Pat Cosgrave
The featured Group 3 September Stakes can go to
BEST SOLUTION as the Godolphin-owned 5yo returns from a more than 300 day absence. He racked up an impressive sequence of three Group 1 wins last autumn before running a respectable eighth behind Cross Counter in the Melbourne Cup. His form is outstanding, and in the belief that his trainer has him pretty straight for this belated comeback he can outclass his foes.
Race 6: SANDYMAN (8)
Trainer: Paul Cole
Jockey: M Godwin
As the least exposed in the field,
SANDYMAN has a good chance of improving past his foes and is strongly fancied to follow up his recent Lingfield win where he came home unchallenged. This is his first foray into the handicap arena but he holds more scope for progression than the others, while his stable has been quietly knocking in the winners.
