The son of Frankel and Heaven Sent has rubbed shoulders with several leading juveniles, including the Godolphin titan Pinatubo at Royal Ascot. There's nothing of his calibre in this evening's field and that points to a visit to the winner's circle.

Lady Laidlaw's decision to try her luck in England with
LAST WINTER can reap an immediate harvest. Formerly a top class performer in the Cape with Dean Kannemeyer, the 6yo hasn't been seen in public since chasing home Oh Susanna in the Sun Met at Kenilworth in January, 2018. But the entire son of Western Winter has been giving off the right signals and Stoute, who recently guided Smart Call through the latter stages of her career, can get a tune out of him in this Listed prize.

Race 3: HEAVEN FORFEND (2)

The course experience of
BERTIE'S PRINCESS should prove worth its weight in gold in what is sure to be a tactical contest. Those outings were over five furlongs but her best effort happened over today's seven furlongs trip, at Redcar. Taking account of the 3lb claim of her apprentice pilot the selection receives a colossal 15lb from Flylikeaneagle and she can capitalise.
Race 5: REASSURE (3)

Although having plenty to find on the ratings
REASSURE has scope for considerable improvement and can outpointed the recently disappointing Exclusively. The selection overcame greenness to open her account on her second outing at Chelmsford, getting well on top in the closing stages. She will have learned much from that.
Yarmouth Best Bets
Race 4: LINE OF REASON (8)

Jockey: Luke Morris
Veteran
LINE OF REASON has on his last two outings given a clear indication that he's on the cusp of a return to winning ways. He was only denied in the final 100 yards by Dark Shadow at Doncaster a week ago, has come out of it well and should prove hard to beat.
Race 5: CHAIRMANOFTHEBOARD (2)

Having looked a bit special on his Goodwood debut,
CHAIRMANOFTHEBOARD hasn't managed to live up to the high expectations held for him. This season his efforts went from bad to worse but he's now returning from a four month absence during which he's been treated for a breathing issue. Granted his undoubted talent this is the time to find out whether it's worked.
Kelso Best Bets
Race 1: NIETZSCHE (1)

Having made a smooth transition to fences, strong traveller
NIETZSCHE can reel in front runner Newtown Boy. The 6yo came from a long way off the pace to narrow the gap to threequarters of a length with Andrea Cross at Cartmel when that track wasn't enough of a test. He should find the Kelso undulations and uphill finish more to his liking.
Race 6: ONE NIGHT IN MILAN (2)
Trainer: Keith Dalgleish
Jockey: Brian Hughes
ONE NIGHT IN MILAN looks a worthy favourite and can make this a fifth success from his last six starts. The 6yo ran out a convincing winner over the course and distance last week and it's no surprise seeing him out to bolster that under a 6lb penalty. He powered four lengths clear of Morraman, suggesting there is plenty more in the locker.
