La Rochelle will be looking to move back into the Top 4 when they take on Pau on Saturday the 10th of March.
La Rochelle have endured a horrid start to 2018 which has seen them drop to seventh place on the Top 14 standings. Things won't get any easier for them as they face fourth-placed Pau this weekend.
The hosts have been in solid form since the turn of the year and will be confident of getting one over an out of sorts La Rochelle side.

This weekend's hosts have been in impeccable form this year winning all five of the domestic games they have played. Their five-game winning streak has seen them move into fourth place on the Top 14 standings, only six points off second-placed Racing Metro.
A victory here could see them close that gap to just one point as Racing have a daunting away date with log-leaders Montpellier to contend with.
When these two sides met back in November 2017, La Rochelle were an all-conquering force and ran out 44-14 victors. A similar result is unlikely to occur this weekend, however, as the visitors head into this one devoid of confidence, unlike Pau who are on a massive high.

The most entertaining team in European rugby are struggling for form at the minute. They have endured a dreadful start to the year and have only managed to win one of the five fixtures they have played in 2018. They suffered yet another loss last week as they went down 21-17 away to struggling Clermont.
If La Rochelle are to get their campaign on track then they will need to bag a win here. And in order to do so, they are going to need their forward pack, which has struggled in recent weeks, to put their hands up. Pau have a solid setpiece and if La Rochelle can't get a foothold at the scrum, then they are destined to suffer yet another loss.

They may be in wretched form but La Rochelle have the quality to string a sequence of wins together and get themselves back into the top 4. I have this sneaky suspicion that this game will put an abrupt halt to their slump.
