ALDO'S CHASE is improving quickly and after being outrun late into a close 3rd over a mile recently, he stands out in this very weak contest. The lightly raced Oratorio colt should have no issue with the slight drop in distance but he does make his debut on this track which can sometimes be tricky. He is well drawn though.

ONE MOMENT IN TIME quickly drops to the mile after he failed to quicken over further a fortnight ago. Of course he had an eye-catching debut effort from a poor draw over this distance prior to that and the son of King's Chapel has much room for improvement. He may prove to be above-average.

The son of Judpot was particularly impressive when he stayed on for 3rd behind Guineas hopeful Noble Secret over a mile on his handicap debut on the Highveld three weeks ago. He wasn't penalized for the effort and clearly has more to offer. This extra furlong should suit the chestnut who of course began his career in this province.
