MAN ABOUT TOWN (2kgs worse off) after hitting his top stride late that day and has strong claims of following despite the resultant three pound penalty.

The day's headline event is an open handicap over seven furlongs where the powerful Snaith outfit is well-represented. The progressive and sparingly raced
SILVER MAPLE worked hard to beat fast finishing subsequent winner Silva's Bullet over this c & d with front-running tactics last time out and of course the 3rd placed entrant Earth Hour further enhanced that form line with a last gasp triumph next time out. This bay son of Silvano was upped three pounds for his exertions but clearly has more to come and can follow up.

Furthermore, the chestnut gelding will love the likely strong tempo and he can build on that recent progress.
