The former has come back roaring from a break after his historic Melbourne Cup triumph and may have just enough edge on him to see off the buoyant Ipsolini who can boast two successes at the Carnival and is in a good place.
CALL THE WIND represents to connections and can post a frame finish but might not be quite in the right spot to win this.

There may be a big field for this Group 1 sprint but if ever the adage 'the bigger the field, the bigger the certainty' applies it is to the odds-on BLUE POINT.
Charlie Appleby's charge is the lord of all he surveys here and unless getting into traffic problems should win this without breaking sweat.
His recent victim EKHTIYAAR reopposes and rates the main threat, while WISHFUL THINKER from Hong Kong and the UK raider SANDS OF MALI also come into the equation.

JAHBATH has arrived with good stats from the UK and William Haggas wouldn't bring him here unless confident of a collection of some kind. This one has won his last four and can get into the argument.
