Apprentice George Bass has a first ride for the Channon stable on AZOR AHAI who is considered forward enough to give a good account on his return from a protracted absence. He's ready to put that behind him.

This looks a good time to catch SECOND TIME AROUND who seeks to recoup the losses incurred when he was a well-backed favourite only to fall when bang in contention at Kempton in January. He departed too far from home to be certain he would have won, but is worth another chance now that his stable has run into a bit of form.
