The Rugby World Cup is fast approaching its business end and for a number of minnow sides, this week's games will offer them a chance to bow out on a high note. While all the midweek action pits a minnow against a big gun, some of these games could still have a massive bearing on quarter-finals qualification, in particular, the clash between Scotland and Russia where the Six Nations side must pick up a bonus-point win.

Argentina will be looking for a good finish to what has been a dismal World Cup when they take on the United States in Wednesday's opener. The hosts have suffered two defeats from there the three games they've played thus far with their only victory being a scrappy 28-12 win over Tonga.
This is the United States' penultimate game as they will take on Tonga on Sunday. Surprisingly, United States coach Gary Gold has opted to field a rather strong side against Argentina. South African born Ruben de Haas is only one of three changes to the side that lost 33-9 to France last week.
Verdict: United States - Half-Time Handicap (+10.5) 9/10
I think the States will give a decent account of themselves during the first stanza as the Argentine's have been real slow starter out in Japan.

Scotland will be desperate to claim a bonus point from their fixture against Russia so as to keep their World Cup dream alive.
The 'Scots head into this one six points behind Pool A's second-placed side, Ireland, and a further three-points behind log-leaders Japan who they will face on Saturday.
The 'Scots have registered one win and a loss thus far in the tournament going down 27-3 to Ireland in their opener and then bouncing back with a 34-0 victory over Samoa.
Verdict: Russia (-32.5) 9/10
I feel Russian legs will be weary at this point. As such, I can see a late second-half blit seeing the 'Scots past this line.

Wales will be looking to vanquish the ghosts of 2007 when they take on a highly unpredictable Fijian side in Wednesday's final fixture.
The 'Dragons have enjoyed solid campaign to date beating both Australia and Georgia. This is their penultimate game of the pool phase and a win here would go a long way to ensuring they top Pool D.
The Welsh have had some great news on the injury front this week with first-choice fly-half Dan Biggar cleared fit to play. His educated boot and tactical know how will go along way in subduing the threat of the free-running Fijians.
Verdict: Wales (+17.5) 9/10
Wales are likely to take a very conservative approach to this one as the ghost of France 2007 still linger. While they should have no troubles beating the Fijians, I cannot see them clearing what is a decent sized handicap.

Australia will be looking to close their pool phase out with a big win over Georgia when the two sides collide in Friday's solitary fixture.
The Australians currently sit two points clear of Wales on the Pool D standings but the Dragons do have a game in hand - which is the aforementioned fixture against Fiji. Should the Welsh win that and their game against Uruguay - which is an absolute give me - then the Australians will have no hope of topping the pool.
While Australia have virtually booked their spot in the quarter already, Georgia will be looking to bow out of the World Cup with a famous win. The Eastern Europeans have played some good rugby this term with their best performance coming in their 33-7 victory over Uruguay.
Verdict: Australia (-27.5) 9/10
I reckon the Australians will have the Georgians number here as the Wallabies have a solid setpiece. If the Georgians can't get the ascendency at scrum time, then they are a very limited side.
