RIVERSTOWN won first time out over 1450M at this venue and steps up to the mile today, but the manner in which he finished that day would suggest that this is well within his ability. He drifted in the betting that day which may suggest that the stable were not that confident. He starts from a handy draw and looks to be the one that they all have to beat

The father/son Azzie stable will be looking to complete the trifecta again with their three runners in the race.
ORAVAR won that last run and will be looking to repeat that feat, with Callan Murray in the saddle once again. He beat his stable companion
DOWN TO ZERO by 1.25L in that race and is just 0.5kgs worse off at today's weights and looks to be able to confirm that result. His other stable companion,
RIVARINE finished 1.5L behind and is 1kg to the good at today's weights.

As with the previous race, one stable looks capable of dominating the result of this contest, in this case, the Sean Tarry yard.
ZILLZAAL returns from a 13 week rest. He set the pace in his last two runs over more ground in KZN and was only collared late in his latest outing over eleven furlongs. His only win so far came over the mile and he may prove difficult to reel in under Piere Strydom's urgings.

FIFE set the pace and then fought on well to win her maiden race over a mile at this venue last time out. She returns from a 28 week rest, but her trainer certainly knows how to get them ready to win first time back. She jumps from a handy draw and gets Piere Strydom in the irons.
