The series between India and Australia will serve as a barometer for both sides' World Cup preparations - and a last chance to settle some selection headaches.
This will be the first ODI hosted at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in over four years, but a fair amount of players have some experience of the venue due to IPL cricket.

India
The T20I series loss will have stung perfectionist Virat Kohli, but the slightly longer limited-overs format should amplify India's strengths and Australia's weaknesses.
Hardik Pandya pulled out of the series with injury, allowing Ravindra Jadeja to come in and press his case for inclusion in the World Cup squad.
India's potent top three will be critical in determining the outcome of both the first game and the series. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are perhaps the best openers in the game when it comes to blowing the opposition away from the get-go.
The pair are backed up by Kohli at three, but it is the middle-order that is a concern for India, who haven't been able to settle the number four question. Lokesh Rahul will battle Ambati Rayudu for that spot, having returned from suspension.
Australia
Since the beginning of 2017, Australia have won just eight of their 31 ODIs, giving them a win percentage of just above 25 percent. For context, Zimbabwe have a win percentage of 28 percent in the same period. No other full-member nation have secured fewer victories in the last two years.
Their problems with the format pre-date the bans handed to ODI lynchpins Steve Smith and David Warner, but their suspensions haven't helped Australia.
One of the chief criticisms of Australia in the ODI format has been there inability to assess surfaces as well as their opponents - and adjust the tempo of their batting.
The pitches rolled out for this series should be superb for batting, in an attempt to mimic what is expected at the global showpiece.
Australia have loaded their team with hitters, but it could be their use of the incredibly talented Usman Khawaja that determines how well they do in India.
Verdict: India 47/100
Even after the T20I series triumph, it is tough to envision anything other than a win for India.
